Carvoeiro is one of the lesser well known tourist attractions in the Algarve.
This lively little fishing village features a sheltered cove ideal for snorkeling. If snorkeling or fishing isn’t your cup of tea, make sure to check out the wide range of restaurants and bars, as well as the many live entertainment shows held around the village.
2. Monchique
Located among the wooded heights of the Serra do Monchique, this mountain top village is more of a health resort than a village.
Hot sulfur springs, baths and natural thermal spas that have been utilized since the Roman Empire makes Monchique one of the top tourist attractions Algarve that you’re not going to want to miss.
3. Algarve Golf
One of the top tourist attractions in the Algarve is without doubt the golf. Indeed, the Algarve is very well known around the world for it’s golf resorts, with many courses designed by world famous golfers such as Arnold Palmer.
Over 40 golf courses (many of which are ranked among the top 25 courses in the world) make the Algarve the ideal destination for golfers.
